Wildlife

The world around us is filled with wildlife – from creep insects to majestic soaring eagles! Spend a few minutes checking out the wildlife I’ve been able to capture with my camera.

Ornithology - Birding

To be free to soar like an eagle, using the Earth's wind to propel you to dizzying heights! Man has been fascinated with winged creatures from the start, and birds are what drove the imagination of flight pioneers such as the Wright Brothers. It's no wonder so many models of aircraft are named after birds!

If you are a bird watcher, may I recommend you check out Cornell University's Ornithology Lab's mobile bird spotting app, Merlin. It's a great way to track and record your birdwatching activity.

Whales

A whale is one of the largest living species on earth. These graceful aquatic mammals frequent cold, deep waters but can often be found feeding near shore in such paradises as Alaska and Hawaii.

Mammals

From fuzzy to prickly, mammals surround us. We typically think of mammals like dogs and cats, our cuddly house pets. Some mammals are aggressive and reign at the top of the food chain. Others prefer to lie low, gather food, and hide out in rocks, caves, or grasses.
